Derrick Fisher Coleman

We loved our bicycles, back then we were the Roatan Bicycle boys, we would ride our bikes all day every day, Derrick was always the one doing the stunts we would roll up to the club on our bikes, go to the store we even went to church on our bikes.  Wish we could still ride together, Memories that will always remain. I remember years ago, back in 2001, I use to live in my apartment in the Bronx and as busy as Derrick was, anytime I would call him to come and stay with me, he would say with his deep voice "ok". So when he would stay with me, I took him food shopping with me, shoe shopping with me, and everywhere else you can think of and he NEVER complained. He would come over everyday and spend hours with us. I loved his company and he was very trustworthy. When people would put me down, he would inspire me to not give a damn. I will always love him for that. 

Derrick Always look forward to a challenge although sometimes he failed perserverance never allow him to give up. Derrick Coleman were resiliant and believed if you work hard and maintain faith in God all things are possible. Derrick Coleman never forgot about his roots, friends and family. He believed these tools were essential to his character and personality and it define who he were.  Derrick Coleman Enjoyed playing basketball,Baseball and Soccer his competative nature allowed him to thrive in these sports. Above all Derrick Coleman was a husband and a excellent father who provided food, clothes and shelter for his family the best way he know how. Derrick Coleman had a strong resentment for drugs and alcohol abusers. Derrick portrayed a humurous character with friends and family deep down on the other hand Derrick Coleman were quiet, reserved and shy he really didn't crave attention. Derrick was always cracking a joke to anyone who would listen, he always had us in stitches.
